My photography journey began after retiring from the Fire Service. My wife encouraged me to stay busy and find something new to dive into. I picked up a camera almost ten years ago, and the first thing that captured my attention was the night sky. Astrophotography challenged me, inspired me, and pushed me to learn far beyond what I expected.
From there, the passion grew. I wake up before sunrise, chase light across mountains and coastlines, and wait patiently for conditions to align. Adventure and exploration fuel me, whether it’s the Milky Way rising over the desert, a lighthouse glowing at sunset, or the quiet glow of a steam train in the cold night air.
I am dedicated to constant improvement, always experimenting, always refining, always learning. Over the years, several of my images have received awards, but the real reward is being out there, watching the light change and capturing a moment that will never repeat itself.
